Good morning all, nothing to report except to say I am getting better and stronger every day, every morning its much easier to get going. At the weekend, I can start driving again and the dressings stay off for good

Feels good to know you are on the mend doesn't it Phil. I have "binned" the insulin and am now 100% metformin. I still check my sugar regularly but no more insulin injections which I don't miss one little bit! MOT'd myself last night, blood pressure (have a home monitor) etc normal, don't intend running a marathon but I'm probably healthier than I have been for years.
Waiting for a new hard drive for a laptop, sent Royal Mail 1st class signed for with a tracking number. Supposed to be delivered today, checked the tracking "Good news, your item is progressing through our network and on its way." . . . . that's very helpful, couldn't be more vague! I was given the laptop a wee while ago, it wouldn't boot up. Despite my best efforts couldn't get it to work, tried all the repair options, reloading Windows etc so gave up. Found a refurbished (larger) hard drive for just 25 quid so I'll start from scratch. Postie has just been, no hard drive. Last edited by stevestrat; 1st August 2017 at 11:42.. |
