I have the Connoisseur SE CDTi , the only thing i have not got is the Navigation, the Stereo is the Cd 80, and a sun roof. Wheels are 17' Meteors and i have a space saver wheel. I think i may have gotten a "Showroom car" with nearly all the extras. And i love it

I stand to be corrected, but I think the Traction Control was standard on the V6 outside the UK. In the commercial docs that I have back in France it was mentioned this way, and since in the Middle East all the 75s were sold as V6, they all had the TC. (mine has it also )

There seems to be no mention of door finishers on this thread. Were they just an optional extra?

Mg zt 180se
Hi Reebs,
What's the best engine mods for this car? I'm an bout to purchase a very special 180se £4,500, and yes this is expensive, however, its an absolute cracker. 56,000 miles FSH and spec'd up to the hilt I'm not a car freak but value you're expert view point. Andrew75 |

Hi Andrew, well at the end of the day, a car is only worth what you are prepared to pay for it, and if it's in clean condition you'll get a lot of car whatever the price. If it's any help, when I bought my ZT 180 SE with SE pack Monogram back in 2010, I paid around £4000 for it.
The engine itself doesn't need for any mods really, just make sure the Power and Balance VIS motors are working properly. We have a club VIS tester available and that very nice Mr Stocktake who can set you on the road to some working motors if you find they are duff. My 180 is extremely powerful and responsive when I put the pedal to the floor, more so than my V6 75, but then it's designed to be different for that reason. When you get it, be sure to post some pictures so we can admire your new ride. |

Very Useful Information
Thank you for going to the effort of doing this. As a total newbie to the Rover 75 thing, I find this a very useful guide. I don't have a Rover 75 yet but this will give me quite a grounding in what I should be seeing when I view various ads.
Many thanks, Jacques S. |

Wouldn't know anything about blue piping on sandstone seats would you? I have blue piping as opposed to black, with a personal line steering wheel/ gearknob/gaiter, handbrake/gaiter and armrest...
