Default Any help with brake parts?

I have been spending a bit of time refurbing my brake calipers and have on occasion had real problems with removing bleed screws. Anyway, I did manage to remove the old and very worn screw from one of my rear callipers using heat but the replacement set that I bought online (that seem to be high quality steel versions) are very slightly too narrow for this caliper. The screw went in and seemed to tighten ok some months ago but when I went to refit the caliper today, the screw was wobbling slightly in the hole and just pulled out. The thread inside the caliper seems to be fine and undamaged.
Can anyone suggest where I can get the correct size from? the ones I bought were supposedly for my car (2003 75 CDTi with standard brakes) and I'm sure I fitted one of these blled screws on the other side last year with no issue so strange to have problems with this side!!.
thanks for reading
