Yep I used some Stop Leak a few years ago and it worked a treat.
Had a slight weep from the near side rack seal, so used it as a temporary measure that looks to be permanent now. It works by causing the rubber seals to swell and doesn't appear to be detrimental to anything else. |

Last MOT said slight misting on power steering, put same into power steering tank, not lost a drop, however I only needed a very small amount to top up. Don't know if there was a problem or MOT inspector making it up.

Brilliant local dealer
Friday put my 75 through my local dealer for MOT and was a tad nervous because three years before last year has flown through with no advisories and pads needed at front this time.So got an early call not good sign ....needs disks at front as well so thought NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- didn't sort funds for big bill.l couldn't believe disks only twenty five pound each sure they were double that ten years ago.
I've been going to this dealer fifteen years and they've been honest to a fault...just wanted to say not all garages dodgy and really lucky to have found this one Last edited by Luckygrandads75; 19th August 2017 at 06:50.. Reason: Change |

Just been out to change Kim's air filter and PCV filter.
Air filter wasn't too bad but changed it anyway. PCV filter...... oh my! ..... someone has already changed it for the BMW vortex type So I have a spare PCV filter and rings from Jules that I will be taking with me to Trikey's on the 10th September if anyone is interested

Took my spare set of wheels to Aerocote for a full renovation as the old ones were starting to bubble a bit on the fork edges. Shiny wheels shall be forthcoming!!!
