I had to prise the chrome ring away as he'd glued it to the panel, then removed the screw & eased out the handle. Drilled & fitted 2 self tappers, one in the top, one underneath, & refitted the assembly. Works great

One thing, when taking off the ring, there was a noise like all the catches unlocking/ locking Had a look around, couldn't see anything so carried on. Turns out, as I was pulling the handle, my finger was resting on the n/side rear window switch, & I'd opened it

This sounds like a lifetime goal achieved. That's too of us this month, Ronnie.

Time for a celebration perhaps?
