Default Replacing Fuel Filter seal part number ESR 3806

Hi, can anyone advise me how to replace the Fuel Filter seal part number ESR 3806 on my 2003 Rover 73 Tourer. I'm replacing my Fuel Filter but would like to replace the seal at the same time. I assume the housing has to be completely removed to achieve the change of seal so I will have to disconnect the feed pipe from the Fuel Pump presumable. Any advise how to do this. Regards Ken

Hello Kenneth, have a read through this. The tank port seal only fits one way.

EDIT: Oh yes, don't forget to fit the orange clip!

You push the seal over the top of the filter cap and down, so it can be positioned around the edge of the tank port.
