Default Fred in Coalville

As most of you know Stocktake delivered Fred the Ted to me in Leicester as promised by Ist Class transport from Yorkshire, it took Fred a bit of time to settle down as last time he was with ragitty he was playing the banjo all night and just having fun.

Anyhow Zeb got to hear that Fred was in town and arranged a meet so he could be transfered the same day to be under his care.

I immediately knew who Zeb was as he started to shimmy across the pub car park just like his avatar.

Once inside the Pub, we got a nice warm welcome from Gary the Landlord of "The Red House", Fred could Bearly believe his luck as Gary put a pint of lager in front of him with a straw in it,

Fred soon became very chatty as the pics below show, he managed to make lots of new friends and hopes that he can visit Gary's pub again soon.

Ted happily jumped into Zeb's Gorgeous Rover and waved goodbye until the next time.

Thanks to Gary the Landlord at "The Red House" Public House, Coalville for being such a good sport.

I have contacted the RSPCA on behalf of Fred and they say they cannot Guarantee a Bears Behaviour when he has more than 80mg /100ml Alcohol Ratio in Blood.
It would be best for him not to drive, they also say sitting him in the Front of car won't get you through the New traffic regulations for minimum of 2 people in car.

It was muted that this could also be Classified as Abuse giving a Bear Alcoholic drink.
But I said could you really believe that a Publican would allow a Bear at the Bar. Quickly hiding the Photos......................................

Fred is now safely back in Skeg after spending two days at Beaumanor Hall......sorry, no pics of this rather stunning stately home come training centre. Nevertheless he had a splendid time there.

It was a very pleasant meeting with Raggitty....a real gentleman...I shall look forward to the Chinese when we will have a wee bit more time to chat!

Now he is in Skeg Fred tells me he is planning to 'party like it's 1999' or something like that... Still, once he has seen Skeg 'nightlife' he may well prefer the cocoa and a warm bed in preference. He has been introduced to the children and has made a good impression, madame is under some illusion that he is a 'work mate' I have brought to stay....

Now, just remember folks, no jokes to Raggitty with references to Brideshead Revisited

Whats all this about then Carl Brideshead Revisited lol

Zeb that rather gorgeous staircase was taken apart treated and rebuilt by me and others working for McDonald Turner Dry Rot Specialist, we spent years rebuilding that place, the central staircase was effected by Serpula Lacrymans i.e. Dry Rot.

When we went to investigate the problems on the first floor, removing the floorboards there is a drop of about 4 feet to the ceiling below. and those are beautiful ceilings.

Looking forwards to a chinese Carl, really enjoyed our mini meet although somewhat short.

T'is a small world Raggitty! The hall of that place is a real delight...especially the woodwork! Re Brideshead...Sebastian Flyte always walked around with his Teddy Bear (Sis' text message whilst at pub...)
