Clue 1.

I have gone to an Island by car, but did not need to travel on a ferry.

There is a slight picture clue as well, although trying not make it too easy for the first clue.

Correctly guessed Andy, Zed is in Hayling Island, the photo of Zed was taken on the pitch and putt golf course at Warners Lakeside with the harbour in the background.
