Mine also went here just before christmas. Autoglass did say glass is weaker in the corners than in the middle but as you say why do they all go at the same place on the Rover 75?.

Mine has a 4" crack in the windscreen as well. When it returns I will need to get it replaced. Surprised it didn't go further when loaded onto the recovery truck. Knowing my luck it will get much worse when it's unloaded on return.

Mine went near the rain sensor but that was due to a phesant flying out the hedge right in front of me.

Had a stone came up and hit my windscreen last year and chiped it

When I phoned up Autoglass, Was told that my car insurance did not cover this

When I renewed my insurance this year, Made sure that I had windscreen cover, unlimited subject to £75 Excess, The cost of a basic windscreen is about 200 quid

Am having Autoglass out tomorrw to repair the chip as far as I know it will not cost me a penny

By yesterday afternoon my crack had increased to about a foot long, I'm guessing this was due to the weather warming up?

Expected it to be even bigger this morning when I went to work at 5am but thankfully it hadn't spread anymore. Roll on Thursday!
