I didn’t fit new discs and brake pads to the tourer as they haven’t arrived yet.🙄

I use a relay in the circuit - the relay has an ignition live feed that breaks the connection between the solar panel and the car battery - i.e. as soon as you switch on the ignition the relay cuts the solar power to the battery. I have tried using diodes but had a lot of problems with voltage drop. the relays are cheap enough off ebay

I didn't get much done on the ZT, I took the next wheel off for refinishing and washed off the muck that landed on my wet car yesterday when the gardeners went by with their leaf blowers.
The priority job for the day was diagnosing a rattle on the wife's Kia Sportage She has only been complaining about it for months. It looks like it may be the...………….Drum Roll.................Drop Links! Go figure.

Not just our cars then Rich.

Did one on my 75 a couple of days ago. Noticed a broken front spring (tyre saver did exactly what it said on the tin, which was lucky because it was a new tyre) and when changing that felt a bit of play in the droplink. I'd been wondering where the clonking had been coming from for the last couple of weeks.

Won some facing bricks on Ebay so that I can finish off the conservatory valley gutter repair. None of the builders merchants would supply under a pallet pack! Just picking up some bricks for an emergency repair officer! My gloves and mask are in the glove box along with the sanitiser wipes! Going equipped? You bet!

After selling the Tomcat coupe I decided to fit the removed audio kit from it back into the classic mini.
