I'm in love!
I'm still breathing heavily after setting up a Range Rover Vogue Supercharged on LPG. I was a bit disappointed that it was so easy to do and had to hand the car back so soon.
This has got to be by far the best car that I have ever driven in every respect. I think that I may have to delay my already postponed retirement a bit longer because.. I WANT ONE! Desperately. It still carries a bit of Rover heritage so I wouldn't be totally disloyal. The way that they devalue makes it almost realistic. This one was just bought for 22k |

A friend of ours bought one new a couple of years back, and they're just amazing cars.. I'd love one myself! Mind you, what do they get on LPG? 18MPG?

I'll think about that - with the contempt that it deserves!
Probably a fair bit less, but that would be OK with me at 49p a litre or less if I shop around. Remarkably economical considering the weight of it. Unless you floor it regularly, of course. |

I wonder for how much longer LPG is going to be "cheap" look at what happened to the price of diesel when it became more popular.

There is not enough Autogas being sold to get the price down in this country and never will be. Not enough suppliers can bulk buy in sufficient scale to promote competition at the retail level let alone the wholesale. Certainly this government's attitude doesn't help compared to, say, the Australian who have given a commitment for many years. The take-up of Autogas is pathetic here compared with the Antipodes, South America and even Eastern Europe. |
