Update.
Unplugged MAF - No difference. Replaced HPFP Regulator seals - No difference. Also replaced the bonnet struts after the bonnet fell on my head. Waiting for the interface cable to turn up now to see if I can read anything from the car. |

OK, have managed to get a cable soldered up and got TOAF connected to the car. Can't seem to see a way to read live data, but did get more error information.
Injector Cylinder 2 Sporadic Error Error 1 Injection volume: 25.60 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 319.28 bar Error 2 Injection volume: 24.58 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 319.28 bar Error 3 Injection volume: 24.58 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 319.28 bar Injector Cylinder 3 Sporadic Error Error 1 Injection volume: 25.09 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 331.33 bar Error 2 Injection volume: 25.60 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 325.30 bar Error 3 Injection volume: 47.62 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 295.18 bar Injector Cylinder 1 Sporadic Error Error 1 Injection volume: 33.79 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 319.28 bar Error 2 Injection volume: 25.09 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 289.16 bar Error 3 Injection volume: 25.09 mm^3 Rail Pressure: 289.16 bar Nothing showing for Cylinder 4 - however all four cylinders picked up an "Injector Circuit A" fault on my ICarSoft - albeit with no further information. I suspect that the errors on Cylinder 4 just had not come back. Anyone have any thoughts? |

Have you cleared the codes and tried running the car, switching off and doing the test again?

Got distracted by taking off the bumper to replace the fan resistor, and ended up polishing the headlights :-)
Anyway - after chatting with Russ (thanks Russ), have ordered a set of injectors to see if that fixes the problem. Hopefully should be here by the weekend. |

So......
After a few failed attempts to get injectors, I finally got hold of some and fitted them, together with nice no "O" rings and copper washers, and some nice new gaskets/seals on the inlet manifold....... and...... Still the bloomin' same! Stupid car. It does seem * slightly * better - it still takes too long to start, but when idling, does not cut out. I also took it for a drive, and it didn't cut out when driving. It does however seem quite rough for the first 30 seconds or so after starting (although it was rather cold today so I can forgive it for that). So - any other ideas? (I also seem to have broken my dash somehow as well - separate thread on that). |

Have you checked the wiring to the injectors? Get someone to try and start the engine while you wiggle the wiring to the injectors.
