intermittent beeping alarm from dash
hello there, could someone please help me with a technical problem that i am having with my rover 75. thereis an intermittent beeping sound that comes and goes whilst driving?, although i do all my own servicing, and have the service resetting electronic gadjet. and there are no warning lights that appear on the dash. i am at a loss has to what this alarm is?. and my local rover garage arnt any help at all. i would appreciate any help or suggestions. thanks nicky.

Hi Nick,
Can you tell us what age your car is and what model eg Classic, Club, Conn SE etc. so we can have an idea of what equipment you have fitted. Do you have trafficmaster for example, it beeps from behind the speedo when it receives a warning, and displays it in the message centre. Or it could be your cars' "overspeed" warning chime if it's set too low. Does the beep sound like the chime you get when you open the door while the lights are still left on? Does the beep sound the same as the one you get when you try and lock the car with a door still open? then it could be your battery backup sounder. Need a bit more info please |

Also, do you have Traffic Master installed?
Is it a single tone beep or two-tone?
