not mentioned these to Simon but now a member has raised it with him i willl ask when next in touch with him, although the caps are curved so coudnt be completely covered, but they are also chrome so would look nice with a walnut capping sitting on the top imo

 I have already done so. I sent two emails yesterday to Simon nd enquired on the chances of him tooling up door cappings as ether overlays on the top edges of the trim, or complete 'L' shaped pieces. As the trim is adhesive backed, it could in theory follow the natural curves of the panels.

I also asked about walnut pieces for the front interior light cluster, and the rear passenger armrest inner tray/lid. No response as yet, but I did suggest that there could be a lot of interest in the door cappings and that he could gauge interest by a post on the forum

Perhaps if a list is gathered of those who would be interested in door cappings (price dependent), we could let Simon know or ask Trebor to pass on the info. If so, put my name on the list please

I think most people would like the door cappings, lets wait to see what answer you get back from Simon

Door cappings would be a very good addition as I mentioned in post 76. I've already obtained real burr walnut trims from a range rover which I've used as posted in another thread, but although I like the look and had positive remarks from those who have seen the finish in the flesh so to speak, shaped to fit cappings would be the preferred option.

Simon is very accomodating, I have a DIN set up with Hans gauge that he will manufacture trim for once I send him a template.

just been e mailing Simon and he says there is a problem with door cappings - the Sun ! In the summer with windows closed they get hot extremely hot and start to peel back.

He is working on walnut for the front ceiling light however, just needs some tweaking before it will be ready.

Default Walnut pieces

Well if this comes off i would buy door cappings (defo) and maybe one for the interior light unit, and the rear armrest cubby storage area. It's a yes from me.

Simon has now completed design of the symphony with and without sat nav, a couple of these are on their way to members and available to all.

he has also designed some chrome window switch surrounds a sample of which are on their way to me and i will post more info when received.

Pictures of the symphony attached and looks great imo, please note that he has even left the blanks in for those that may not want the volume and bass/treble uncovered
