Go on James, once you have three, a fourth doesn't hurt

So with a replacement boot lid, a bit of paint and a clutch, you would have a nice looking car.

In a nice colour too

Strangely enough in conversation this evening, it was noted that the least desirable colours of the Morris Marina range were usually the cars which lasted the best.

So if you owned a Marina TC coupe in Black Tulip, or Lagoon you had no chance, however a Marina 1300 Super in Harvest Gold, Tundra, or Bracken, well......

Probably just as well my Mumford Marina is Jade Green metallic, just what the doctor ordered, a shoddily built light green metallic car

Brian

P.S. I reckon we might be seeing a White Gold/Spice Supertallic two tone in the near future.....watch this space

The last Mrs Noc's Marina Coupe was Harvest Gold, or Old Man's Gold as she called it. I told her that one day it would be a classic.

Comments may be seen as negative but could save a potential buyer a wasted trip! If someone notices something about a car thats for sale i would like to know good or bad. Forums are for open discussion, but no out right slagging off tho!

Am I missing something here? whos been slagging people off?

I tried to buy this the first time it came up but Tony outbid me and I did contact him to try and grab it now but he wants to let the auction run which is fair enough. I hope the new owner if its not me doesn't buy it to break it.

Just spotted an Aubergine 75 CDT with aubergine leather interior. They call it marrone which is Italian for brown.
Only big snag is that it is LHD and for sale near Verona, Italy. Year; Sept 2000 with 110,000km (68,000mls)
Very clean looking with a negotiable asking price of €3500 or £2,450. See it here

Love the car in the OP and the colour is really something. In my view it looks even more stunning in Mk 1 Rover 75 guise, shame it's LHD and in Italy but you can't have everything.

But can he handle one after that common or garden Lexus he keeps talking about?

That one is 'Dorchester Red', which is a lovely colour if you wait for dusk on a sunny day and crouch down with the sun behind you and the car in front! 'Aubergine' was much later and a nicer colour, in my opinion.
