Getting powerwash to work
Iv just fitted xenon head lights to my car,all of the wiring for them were already there built into the loom so thankfully plug n play,I fitted the headlight pump and all the plumbing for the light washers but they don't seem to work,do I need anything else for them to squirt on the lights as I'm at a loss now.

A BBUS is a battery back up sounder. It replaces the standard alarm horn in the passenger side plenum.
It needs a T4 session to tell the car it has powerwashers fitted as a relay has to "be advised" of its change of function. The relay in question operates either the standard alarm horn or the powerwashers. There is another method to get the powerwashers working involving two relays and doesn't need a BBUS. Only difference is it works every time with the screenwash when the lights are on instead of 1 in 5. I used it on a 1.8T when I couldn't get them to work even with a BBUS and T4. You need to get a BBUS, remove the standard alarm horn under the pass side plenum cover and fit the BBUS, connector should be there. Do not fit the BBUS without the T4 alteration otherwise the BBUS will go off, they are incredibly loud and because they have an internal battery will not stop. I'm speaking from experience
