Canbus can be a number of things, definatly sounds like a leaky injector(s)

Nip the leakback pipe with pliers, while someone else trys to start it, remove the pliers as soon as she fires up though!

It's now going to be stood for 4 days and no doubt probably won't start so pre armed with a can of Holts cold start and gonna charge my battery fully ready for the cranking! Also changed the glow plugs and the ones I took out look pretty new so gonna be putting them in the freebies section tomorow.

On a separate note how long does it take to do a key as I only have one and will be worth me getting one done next time I'm in Newcastle got family up there and my uncle has a pub near the airport.

The light works as it can be activated by the diagnostics machine so the bulb has not been removed. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
On those occasions when it doesn't start:

A) are you absolutely sure that the under bonnet fuel pump is working on position II?
B) does the engine management light come on?
C) does the oil warning light come on?

100% both pumps are working both brand new and you can hear them working.
The engine management light never comes on the RAC guy checked it worked by making it light up with his diagnostics equipment just incase somebody had removed the bulb.
Oil warning light is only on before you start it up once running all lights go out as they should.
The only error codes he got were for the EGR as it's been bypassed and CAN connection.

As quick as you want to make it, but about an hour, cups of coffee dependent

The White Swan in Dinnington. May need you to wave your magic wand over the ECU depending on what it's like when I whip it out if that's ok.
Cheers.
