Cheers mate if my ecu is fine and doesn't need money spending on it I'll definately have a key! My last MG ZT was great only things I had problems with was brake pipes and auto gearbox oil needed changing and wasn't cheap! but it was an awesome car and was the V6, this one so far although lovely on the motorway comfortable and handles well has been a massive pain so far! If it wasn't for these forums I'd have binned it by now but these forums give you faith! cheers guys. :xmas-smiley-013:

I can check your ECU for you if you wish, I have lots and lots and lots of experience removing and refitting the Bosch DDE4 unit

Have a run north at the weekend, pop in to see your uncle and we'll get to the root of your problems

My uncle used to live in Ponteland but now spends most of his time in Brasil my other Uncle Ivor lives in another village somewhere close by been there but dont know the name. To be honest last time I was up there was last year on my birthday managed to get a free meal out of him! He was gonna sell it but business has picked back up and he's busy again.

I'll have to see if he's about I'm supposed to pop up sometime to see him with my daughter as he never sees her very often! I'm back on Sunday and I'll try and sort something out with the wife. Cheers mate.
