Some may but not everyone. I don't think it matters who is in charge,
getting the timing for lockdown to be removed and back to normality is an exceedingly difficult decision.

I would expect there to be an increase in covid 19 cases as restrictions lift and I think we the public have a huge part to play in making sure it does not rise.

If we have another lockdown, as annoying and frustrating as it will be, so be it. I am not sure I will blame BJ but more likely Joe Public.

mmmmm I may not be a fan of hers but I am not convinced her saying stay home while BJ says those in England can do this and that is going to win her friends. It will add harm to many businesses in Scotland, however, I happen to think she is right. I feel it is too early to relax lockdown.

If England sees a rise in deaths from covid 19 BJ will probably get slated, if they don't rise I doubt he will be praised.

Thing is BJ is not so much relaxing the lockdown as adjusting it so that we can start to do little things (becuase the R rate is below 1) Because the R rate is still very high in Scotland (due to her stupid indyref2 taking precedence above all else) she's now lagging behind.

Wales and the ROI I can't comment on.

She's about as incompetent as you can get.

Very credible and balanced response by Keir Starmer to Coronavirus crisis, On BBC just now.

If he'd had said no change folks would be complaining that he should have given some lee-way and slackened things off.

If he'd had said it's all good and it's back to normal folks would have said he'd gone too far.

If he'd had been detailed and prescriptive folks would have said it was too complex.

If he'd been all wishy washy then folks would have said they wanted detail.(!)

Whatever he does he is wrong - but he is BoJo.

We have to start sooner or later to get out of this paralysis we are in. It may well be too early, but unless we try we will never know. Some of the questions being asked are very good but some are also very stupid.

For the past two weeks or so people (the media and the opposition et al) have been banging on about a plan to ease the lock down - well here it is. Don't see anyone putting up any viable alternative.

Strange that the government is being slated for not having a plan for all of this, yet companies are not being slated for not having a plan to return to work, it's not as if they haven't had enough notice?

Really have no time for politicians of any persuasion but I don't envy the current incumbents one bit. What a God awful problem to have and to try and resolve.
