popped round steves today to collect a cam sensor to see if that does the trick. spotted a fantastic looking freelander in his drive and feel in love with it what a great looking motor and the colour is outstanding. Put my freelander to shame.

Hi Steve. Nice to know during this period, the club ethics are still operating. Like you, I think it is the crank sensor.

Well because this family has so many cars between us I keep my 75's over the road in a mates drive. went to start the 2.5 up she started pulled her in to the street and she stopped. Five times i tried and at last she started up drove to the house and stopped again. So changed the sensor and hey first turn of the key and started left it running for half an hour then had a drive for a few miles. Fingers crossed it worked. Massive thanks to Steve
