Default Hello all I'm new, just joined the fold.

Hello all, my name is Drew and today I bought myself a MG ZT 190+ as shown below.

I pick the car up hopefully this week as the owner very kindly agreed to put a years MOT on it before I take ownership.

Its done 71000 miles, X-Pack suspension, just had the belts done, body work is in spotless condition, but, does need a few bits sorting out.
Namely the wheels need to be reconditioned as the paint is peeling, this I can do myself so I'm not too worried and the rear window trim is peeling a little but again not worried about sorting that myself either.

I've just come from driving a 1996 Toyota Celica GT which was great for the last 3 years, but I wanted a change to something bigger that I can enjoy, the ZT ticked all the boxes so the hunt began leading me to the one I bought.

Very excited about getting my hands on it and going for a nice long drive.

Thanks, looking forward to being able to have a good poke around the car, no real plans for it other than to enjoy it for what it is.

I'll changed the head unit to put my Pioneer unit in as its my hands free and iPod player.

Welcome along Drew, that's a rather smart looking ZT in Solar Red, with projector headlamps too I see

You'll find many knowledgeable folk here only too happy to help. Any questions or queries just shout.

Ha... I'm sure it probably won't be too long until i'll start spending money on new toys for it.

It already has all the + items so I'll probably start with upgrading the speakers as I like a nice sounding system. I'm not into loud ear bleeding systems but the best of what I can get.

First job will be to sort out the rear window trim as the black is starting to flake off it. I'm going to probably respray it after stripping it back.
