Newbie & question
Hi All,
Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm Richard and have just bought a high mileage 75 diesel, and in the last week, have been nosing around the forum and found out lots from you very clever people. I know I've only had the car for a week, but it's so different from my previous car and I love driving it. Taking a bit of time to get used to the diesel as I've always had petrol, but with the costs of fuel, I needed better economy and I've noticed that already. My question is that the rear wiper has stuck (well it moves, but very very stiff), I've tried removing it, but it seems to have corroded in place and being on glass, dont fancy hitting it. I've tried WD, but still not been able to remove it to clean it... Is there anything else I can try. Thanks in advance. Richard (aka Humphshumphs) |

Hi Richard
I had the same with mine when I brought it, if you have a mess around the whole thing comes off the window leaving just the hole in the window, then it was plenty of WD40 and a good working by hand, also the little plunger on the back that fits into the motor was also siezed, that also freed up nicley Regards Lyndon |
