Default This is getting expensive!

Pulled out my injectors today to have them tested and I've been informed they all need refurbing! Very bad leak back on one and none of them opening at the correct pressure so getting them all done and hopefully should run like a dream!!! lots of new parts but hopefully get there in the end! Could of had a MK2 the money I've thrown at this car! But I shall persevere!
£100 per injector + VAT good job I do all the work myself untill it gets specialist!

Did you test them on T4 before having them refurbed, pretty unusual for all four to be gone!

I didn't I just whipped em out and took em to a recommended that a few mates use there was leak back on one and increased pressure on two one taking 200psi to open and another 170psi. I trust the company, we'll see what the performance is like when I refit them.

What is the correct pressure for opening the injectors?

Don't worry my friend, I have at least 2x injectors that need refurbing/replacing at some point in the future (have done for a while actually, almost 20,000 miles since first diagnosed to be precise), and mine's a Mk2 with only 73k on the clock. So Mk2's ain't any better lol.

Whereabouts are you getting them refurbed for £100+VAT may I ask? Seems a good price, everyone I've spoken to seems to thing £130+VAT upwards! May investigate it myself when the time comes, as I want all four doing and £120+ saving is better in my wallet lol.

No, despite his uncle running the White Swan less than a 1 1/2 mile from me.

I did offer though

Try Lynx diesels as recommended by others on here. I had all 4 of mine done recently by them for £85 + VAT each. Total price £426 delivered. Great service with a 3 day turnaround. Give Alan a ring on 07908219781, lovely guy and really helpful. Mine is now starting on the button and running sweet as a nut

Cheers madone, appreciated!! Mine isn't showing any signs of issues yet (touch wood), just noticeable during a T4 session. But at that price, I might just get them done sooner rather than later!

If you speak to andy willi, you will be pleasantly surprised how much he can get injectors refurbished for, a lot cheaper than you have been quoted!
