Default I think They were a Bargain

I managed to secure these on E Bay and just had them delivered, I paid £31 for the pair. I think they were a bargain.

I need a set of these, as the mirrors I have for my old cars are not a very good fit, and move about.

I have seen them on Rimmers website but not sure if they are still available.

I have seen them go for over £40 - so you've done well!
The actual mirror part is exchangeable with, I think, a Raydot one and the straps can be replaced too. So, as long as you have the 'clever oval' bits which are unique to our mirrors, they should last as long as you need them.
I was incredibly lucky - a local Ebay seller advertised a set at £5 start price, collection only. I was the only bidder, so I got them for £5 plus half a gallon of diesel to collect them. I felt so guilty, I gave him a tenner - and then he threw in a set of genuine MGR beam deflectors for Continental use
To be fair, he had about £60,000 worth of brand new motorhome sat on his drive, and you could have fitted Wembley Stadium in his garden - so I don't think he was short of a bob or two.

Rimmers show them as "Out of stock expected Add to cart and Back Order" at £48 including VAT.
Not quite sure what that means

It basically means that if enough people "Back Order" them, they will make some more, when they have enough orders to justify another production run of them.

So if you ever see an item that you want, always back order it, as it helps getting them made again and you have no pressure to buy if they do!

I got a set from Brian (Actros) last year, best £25 I have ever spent on caravan items.

They fit like a glove, just slide them on and off, never need adjusting easy peasy.

Another vote for the MGR mirrors. Fantastic bit of kit. No movement at all and the best thing is you don't need to keep readjusting them every time you put them on.

No doubt getting rarer and rarer by the day I should think.

They are very good & only take a matter of seconds to fit.
