Apparently it died after removing the Ronbox.

I think it died from neglect being left in a barn for ages. Did you see all the photos? Also I noticed no interior pics......

unplug the MAF? I wonder if the MAF fitted is a Pierburg (Mercedes van type) one? Not sure if that would cause it not to start, as opposed to run poorly.

That was my thoughts too Alan, I don't have much to do with the pierburg maf as I prefer to keep the Bosch one, you would think the seller would have plugged the box back in and see if the car started?

He probably did and it didn’t. Bit like those description “easy to fix” so why haven’t you then?

Harry Pringle has retired sadly, best place for that complete shed

Some are not worth fixing, that one is a prime example.

The same person is/was selling another one, a 75, that one got parked for a long time because the alternator stopped working and he 'couldn't find another'. Seems a frightful waste of cars parked up for the most pointless of reasons.
