Mmm I saw that - surf Ebay now and again for any local Rovers just to see if anything interesting turns up.
Haven't got the space at the moment, but once the garage is cleared out and the Commando is back on the road I'll be looking for a classic to work on. If only I had the space for a Bedford RL, or an Alvis Stalwart! |

The parts are the remains of a 1933 Rover 10 Special (10 Special is the actual model name), about 2700 were made. It was only available for the 1933 season and was the first Rover to have hydraulic (Lockheed) brakes.
There appears to be enough parts to build a driveable chassis for a special. |

My dad had one of these https://www.flickr.com/photos/austin7nut/5520386324/ Can still remember being taken out for a drive in it as a child. Used to see it at classic car shows up to a few years ago but it seems it's now off the road but the owner will not consider selling it even though he has no plans to put it back on the road.
