Personally think the ZT should have a manual. Auto perhaps more suited to the 75.

I think Grey Ghost would argue,
but it is a personal preference.
A ZT190 with a Auto box would be a ZT180 in case you are searching for one.

I prefer the relaxed mode of driving in an auto. The loud pedal works pretty well too.

Kick down on the auto box is great and the driver has to work harder on the manual. I still prefer the manual though
All depends on your driving style and the type of roads you will be driving on.

Been a while since I drove an auto. Just seemed to take the egde off the performance a little from what I can remember. ( not much at the minute )

Seen Duotone's 75 V8. That looks like a fun auto!

I've got the ZT180 auto, I drove the ZS 180 and it was great fun, miss the gear changing in my own car and wish it was tip tronic or at least I had a say in when it changed gear it can be annoying especially when it decides not to kick down as far as you would like!!!! But for geared fun I have my MR2 so get my fix still!!!

Although I have a 75 I think the auto is perfect. The lockdown is smashing but the box adjusts with time on how you drive the car and the gearbox update has worked wonders on the shift and responsiveness.

You can always use the gear stick to select the gear you want if the kick down is not responsive enough for you.
