Default My ZT

Hi All,

I've posted a couple of times in the last couple of months and you've all been very helpful so here are a few pics of my new car.

I've had this for a couple of months now and already racked up over 4,000 miles.

It's a 2003 1.8T 160, with what seems to be a decent spec - Harman Kardon stereo, 6 disc changer etc.

So far i've fitted 4 x Falken FK452s, led side lights, xenon upgrade kit and PH smiley sticker!

Plans include - full service (booked for 4th Feb), new mats, new rear plate and to get the DA polisher out for a good session!

Turbo badge has already been removed!

Once i've got it polished i'll get a few more pics taken.

Thanks again for everyone's help.

Cheers,
Phill

That was going to be my first suggestion

Very nice ZT you have there with a few tasty extras. Love the seats.

Cars great, simple plans are best for them!

Have you considered changing the MG badges also? There are plenty of options on ebay for maybe something closer to your paint work.

I'd like to remove the ZT badge off the rear and i'll be keeping an eye out for a replacement rear MG badge as the current one is quite faded.

I love the seats (not seen another with a similar interior) and although I would have preferred a set of hairpins the straights have grown on me!

An MP3/USB upgrade would be great but I do like the originality of the dash.

Seans double din, whilst dear would be 100% ideal for you in your head unit needs, he has some second hand ones which he covers also.

Know what you mean about Hairpins, I have Apex's on my first ZT, but i prefer Hairpins to all them bar 75 Serpunts.

May have to take a look at the double din later in the year (finances aren't great as it's Jan).

I have a slight issue in that it may have to go later in the year if I get a car allowance from work... they may 14ppm for a petrol car if you have a car allowance... i'm doing 33mpg and that works out at 17.6p ish with fuel at 126.9p.

Oh for a 6th gear

I think i've managed to fix the wet boot issue today and took a few snaps:

The residue glue from the Turbo badge won't come off - i've tried polish, heating it, white spirt, tar and glue remover... Not sure what else to try:

Cheers,
Phill
