New Dutch people @ the club
Hi everyone,
My name is Kas and my partners name is Renate. We come from Breda, somewhere in the middle between Rotterdam (NL) and Antwerpen (B). Since a few weeks we own a Rover 75 2.0 V6 Tourer with only 114.000 kilometers on the clock. A few times every year we visit the UK in our free weekends. We love the UK landscapes and culture and would like to meet nice (Rover 75) people. Hope to meet you soon! |

If you keep an eye on the meetings lists, you may be able to go to one when you are over here on holiday, then you will get to see many cars and meet many people.. ... |

Hi Kas and welcome. Keep an eye on the events and meets forum for information on get togethers, and also click on Calendar above to see what is planned over the next few months.
We have two National Meets planned for this year, one is in just over a month's time (so probably a little too soon) the other is in September. But there are, in addition, plenty of smaller scale gatherings too through out the year. |

Welcome to the forums Kas & Renate
If you post your usual port of arrival its likely that people in that area could catch up with you during your visit, assuming you bring the car |

Hello Kas,
You're not too far from here (working in Antwerp). Judging by your introdyction, you will enjoy the British Cars & Lifestyle event in Rosmalen (NL). I visited it a few times and really like it. Best regards, |

Hallo Kas, welkom op het forum, eindelijk weer een Nederlander met een Tourer erbij.
First tip of me is SELL your car as soon as you can! If you get hooked by it, you will probably be hooked for life! Lots of members can confirm that. Don't tell me I did'nt warn you! But perhaps it is too late already... Lots of things to read here, and tips to hold your 75 in the best possible state. We are also UK lovers, next trip is end of April for service of our 75. Perhaps we will ever meet somewhere in Holland, or at a meet. Micro-micro meet in Holland? Don't know if you have the history of your 75, but first thing I would check is are the plenums dry? And cam belts what must be replaced in 150.000km or 6 years. If your cam belts a due to be replaced, I have a very good address for you in the UK, and if you are a regular UK visitor, you could perhaps combine a vistit and a service in one go. Cambelts on this address are don in a quick way, and by far not as expensive as here in Holland. Groeten, en tussen de lijntjes blijven! Rob.
