Recommended Caravan and Camping sites
Theses are a few of my favourites:
http://www.theinsidepark.co.uk/ http://www.cartrefcaravansite.co.uk/ Well kept, beautiful little site, only 5 miles from home, but it feels a world away!. The owners can't do enough for you. http://clunvalleycamping.co.uk/ Very basic site with reasonable facilities. Cracking real ale festival around here later in the year. Free transport between the pubs too............very enjoyable. http://www.lligwybeachcampsite.co.uk/ A 30 second walk on to the beautiful beach. Fairly good facilities, but a little expensive.

Caravan club members get some good £7 per night stuff, but in general, prices have increased a lot over the last 2 years. Average for the 4 of us, with awning and hook-up is somewhere between £20-£30 per night at the bigger sites these days......but probably nearer £30.

Small pubs in quiet locations often have a few pitches out the back, similar to this:
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/de...asp?revid=8591 No idea of their prices though.

Here is a cheap but good CL site.
Also has an "overflow" field away from the CL which is south facing. Facilities are electric hook up and water stand pipe. Very quiet, 10 min walk to the coast Bus stop just outside the site. Lovely area, brilliant pubs Located just outside Chichester. Kia Ora Nursery Nutborne PO18 8RT |

My van is currently on this site for the season, very well kept site a few minutes drive from Scarborough. Excellent toilet /shower facilities and very helpful and friendly staff.
Beautiful fish and chips nearby http://www.sthelenscaravanpark.co.uk/ Paul |

Should any of you fancy visiting Northern Ireland then heres the tourist board guide of approved sites.
http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...-Ireland-T1102 I can highly recommend the following! http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...el-Newry-P7549 http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...wcastle-P10927 http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...lycastle-P7570 http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...ly-Larne-P7540 http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...el-Newry-P7526 (even has a Rver 75 in the photo hahaha!) And where I grew up as a child every other weekend, its a nice basic site but great access to Portrush and the major tourist spots! http://www.discovernorthernireland.c...Portrush-P7543
