Morning all.

Dry here but rather grey and sort of miserable.

Quizzie's off to see some of her friends at Guide Dogs puppy class today. Really it's so I can have a fuss of the new puppies I haven't met yet . Oh, and share a cuppa and cake with friends.

Take care everyone.

Morning all, a wet day down here too today, at least the garden will appreciate it.

The sun has come out here & it's humid warm now. Thunderstorms due at teatime. I've been finding some spaces in the garden for the rhubarb (Glaskins perpetual) I grew from seed, They're way to big for the buckets I grew them in reaching thigh high now At least the ground will be a soft dig with all the rain we've had lately Still harvesting tomatoes & giving them to family & friends as there's a glut of them despite me growing them in stages so as not to fruit all at once but the later plants just catch up

I've got around ten bags in the freezer now just waiting on the bell peppers,Garlic & onions to ripen a bit more before I roast them all & make a big batch of pasta sauce, I need some tins of tomato puree from Aldi too.

Dear me! Never seen a thunderstorm like it with the amount of rain it's put down, It was coming off the roof so fast it was coming over the guttering The front lawn is under water & the lightening is right overhead now, Two of the cats have clawed open the wardrobe door & gone in there There will be local flooding with this amount of water.

Cool

Looking forward to collecting Baby Black Banana tomorrow. Allen is giving me a lift to collect.

Done two lots of washing, had to put it on the airier as the rain has been hit and miss.

Nice homemade curry and rice. Just washing all down with a large glass of white wine.

It's been absolutely tipping it down here too.

Roads flooded and one poor driver blocking the road after his off side front wheel had dropped into a hole that used to have a manhole covering it. .

Quizzie had a ball at the end of puppy class. Lots of "youngsters" to play with and what a joy to see them just enjoying being alive and happy. .

Take care everyone.

That's why we have the three girls, they get on and are always playing, times they go mental chasing each other. Best thing to do is keep out of the way, wouldn't be the first time Maya has collided with my shin and, frankly, she has a head like a brick

We had the rain last night too, although it was fairly warm and very sunny for most of the day.
