Default Sky news & this rail crash

Just been watching the news on Sky about this rail crash in Cumbria, seems there's no fatalities thank god.

But, the interviewer was speaking on the phone to an Ambulance Service spokeswoman...

Bearing in mind there's 9 carriages derailed, gone down an embankment, scores of fire service, ambulance service, police, military helicopters on the scene; the interviewer ask's "Are you treating this as a major incident". What a rediculous question to ask.

That is what I love about the British media, so sharp they could cut themselves!

Yes, the national news media are proving yet again how they really only work a four and a half day week - major stories at weekends are an inconvenience and thus not permitted

Hence the ITN 10.30pm news last night began 'A packed commuter train....................'
I prefer 'a packed main line express train.............'

lol

Spent the best part of two hours this afternoon with Sky News on in the background.

The structure of the train is amazing, it's barely even scratched. Considering what it went through, all I've seen so far is glass fibre damage, not so much as a cracked window.

I wonder if Network Rail will be found responsible for this one...

Mr Branson seems to think it is their fault....also said that the trains are built like tanks.....a good investment there!

Report now shows similar to Potters Bar Crash. Missing or Mislaid Bolts, Missing Stretcher bar...Nothing Changes, except Branson did spend a lot of extra money on the safety aspect of the Pendilino (or class 390) trains against advice, well done!!! Sad about the person dieing though what will Network Rails excuse be this time?
