Having five minutes and a coffee before starting a spring roll production line. Got one batch of pork mince (with veg, spices etc) filling and just finished a second batch of beef mince (with veg, spices etc) filling. Went out earlier and got the wrappers along with the doings for the beef ones. Start making them once I've had me coffee.

Morning Ian

Like yourself I use a “grabber” a useful tool. I forgot to say about your back being locked up by muscle spasm. If it’s really bad and you are incapable of getting to the toilet or getting out of the house you can ask your GP or district nurse for a home visit to give you a muscle relaxant by injection or with oral medication. There are several different brands and it’s a case of finding the ones which work for you, given your medical history. It’s something which would fall into the remit of your GP practice, just a thought.

Catch you later.

Morning. Dry, cloudy but very windy here. Leaves still too wet to use the garden vac and I don't know if there's any point trying to involve a brush in that wind.

Made 60 spring rolls yesterday, 28 pork and 32 beef, must have been a wee bit generous with the pork filling or it would have been 30-30. Get them bagged up and in the freezer.

Yeah I'd have to consult with my Doc, He stopped my anti Inflammatory pain killers & Gabapentin nerve meds when I went onto apixaban blood thinners.
My Dad suffered a lot with sciatica too.

I might try CBD oil if that agrees with my other meds. Still pantless & sockless today dressing gown only because I cant bend down so far. My missus is crocked too after going out for a walk around town with her friend.

Looks like leftover chicken provencal for me & sausage, Mash & peas for the missus & daughter for tea tonight.

Yum those sound good Steve, I got a few packs of pork mince the other day from ASDA & need to do some more Chinese pork dumplings as I've just restocked the baking cupboard supplies too.

I bid on a pair of two old school stoneware oval pie dishes last week & being the only bidder won them for a ridiculous price 2 quid for the pair , A chap in Aberdeen was selling them, Just arrived in perfect order.

Knackered! Got the garden vac out, got rid of the leaves at the garage steps, always accumulate there. Got some of the back done but still a gusty breeze, it was like trying to hit a moving target. Vacuum up some leaves, move along to the next bit, gust of wind and the leaves in front of you disappear and reappear where you've just done behind you Sodthat, not playing any more, I'll wait til the wind had died down.

Wind has got right up and is making a mockery of my leaf clearing efforts earlier. Wasted my time, back to square one
