Default Sunday 14th July Coventry Transport Museum

Meet now booked for Sunday 14th July 2013


10:00 hours to 16:00 hours (that 10am to 4pm if you watch only goes up to 12) like mine

PLEASE CONFIRM IF YOU WILL BE JOINING US.

Please be advised are now required to have our own public liability insurance in place for this meet. I have already arranged it and it will add the princely sum of £2 per car. But remember parking and entrance is free

10 am 4PM

Museum confirm the venue will be free of charge to members with parking for up to 50 cars. but do lay down conditions.(see full list on museum web site)
1: members are personally responsible for any damage they may cause to the site
2: ALL car must have drip trays and any oil spillage to be cleaned up will be charged to the member who,s car caused it.
3:WE must supply parking Marshalls.
4 Cars must not be driven around the site once parked up.

This wont be a Owners club meet and they will not be responsibly in any way.
Public liability is provided by the museum its self
we also now have our own public liability insurance in place for this meet.

Yes its a good setup. The 200/400 club have had their AGM there a few times. Museum is good, car-club friendlyness is (well was at least) also very good.

Well you can use the whole concourse if you are very popular. I guess room for 50 cars at least. Probably nearer 100 in reality.

I guess side by side you can get 15-20 in one row comfortably and 3 or 4 rows deep.

I think it is even free to get in the museum so its a good (and cheap) family day out. Just make sure the cars are locked though as it is in the middle of coventry afterall!

It basically depends on the date, but I'd be very interested in attending this if I could, the museum looks fantastic!! Always wanted to see the SSC, the simulator sounds immense. Shall keep my eye on this thread
