Rover 75 Radio

Hi guys

I want to fit a new modern Radio, in my Rover 75 2003 Con 2.0 V6 .
Halfords said ok to do. Just need a bracket piece, to make it fit ?
The Radio I want is one with touch controls, video screen etc,
costs around £500

Any of you, done this job before ?

If you go with an Xtrons android unit then no adaptor needed. Pretty much plug and play. Ebay is probably the best place to look for adaptor plates if you choose one of the many others available.

How does your radio perform ?
does it give have sat nav, play your songs/tracks, from your mobile, and things like that ?

Radio performs well but only Fm and Am built in, if you want DAB it's an optional extra. Satnav works fine and yes you can bluetooth audio from your phone to it without any problems and the same with hands free phone use.

As it's an android unit you can download spotify, Tidal etc and just hotspot from your phone and stream directly from the Xtrons. Its also got things like Youtube built in and i've also installed Netflix and Amazon prime on mine and they also work with no problems.

I've also just recently installed a usb port into the centre console and i've got 50+ albums stored on a memory stick which the unit reads with no issues so i don't really have the need to stream music on the go.

Actually just saw 9" , it says will fit Rover 75
costs £239
Android 10.0 head Unit Car Stereo. 4G wi-fi function. Split screen function. Rear view camera, Online GPS, Support DVR connection ( optional), steering wheel control, Volume etc, EQ 30 band, Support TPMS (after you have correctly installed the TPMS in your car, the Sensors will automatically monitor Tyre pressure temt etc. Its a 92 Screen.
