Default Autobox - Help needed please

Is there anyone near to me who could sort out my autobox reliably please, I am fairly certain it needs a 2/4 solenoid and a fluid change (thumps really badly when cold gets slightly better when warm), I am unable to do it myself (or I wouldn't be asking), I tried to measure the resistance on the connector but just couldn't physically mange it as the MS is playing up quite badly, I can't drive very far either but I am willing to pay petrol and labour costs. Thanks guys.

My drive isn't flat either so I don't think the oil can be changed here.

Does no one know of any garage that can help? Where do other North East members take their cars, I can't believe there is no one.

2/4 duty solenoid should show up with T4 Steve, by the way I was talking to Dave today and he mentioned your difficulty in getting your car up to his place.

If you don't have any luck in getting it down there, I may be able to assist

Thank you Brian I really appreciate it, I have kind of got to the point of wondering if I can keep the car going. Dave has asked me to ring his next door neighbour who is in the recovery business, so I have done, he is sorting out a suitable date with Dave to get my car there, I might ring him as it's been a week and I haven't heard anything back yet. Trouble is I suffer with MS and it can sometimes be good and sometimes bad, getting more bad days now though. Problem is I don't know anyone near me who can help, I am prepared to pay but all the local garages want to try ordinary TQF. It really upsets me as just a few years ago I could of done it easily and on top of my gearbox woes I also need 2 dents removing from the sills, again I can't find anywhere local who seem to be interested. Would be a shame as I have had her 10 years but it is getting really difficult to get anything done.
