HK Sub woofer for a tourer
I used to run a FLI sub in the boot of my saloon and really liked the way it complemented the sound from the otherwise standard sound system (albeit with a Radioguy double din).
For my new Tourer, I dont want to fill the boot with a sub and was considering adding a HK sub in the left hand cubby. But I'm not familiar with the HK setup and don't know if this would work. Would I need a HK amp to drive it from or can any amp drive it? I don't really intend to replace the door speakers unless a cheap set of HKs came along. Or would I be better off buying a small 8 or 10" generic sub and amp and making custom mounts in the cubbies? Cheers, Rich

If you stumble across the HK stuff cheap go for it. In the tourer though i'd be tempted to run a sub either side into your own amp.
