ZTT Subwoofer options
Having upgraded my front speakers, they are now able to handle any volume higher that 2 but they have further highlighted the poor sub in the boot. So much so that i've actually unplugged it. What are my options to return some bass into my music? I'm not looking for sound-off, window shaking, neighbour disturbing bass levels but anything would be nice!
Can the original sub be swapped out whilst retaining the original box or would i be looking at a custom build? |

You can't use the standard enclosure for anything other than the standard speakers - it's a tuned enclosure to the T/S parameters of the original speakers.

What are the other options then? Normally I'd whack a sub box in the boot but my ZTT is the main Labrador carrier so that's not an option.

I was thinking of trying to build it into the left hand cubby hole, or build it into the boot floor.
Underseat is another option too. |

Not started the glassing up yet, just need a couple of days to do the back mould where I don't need to use the car. |

I reckon if you made a mould up you may have a few customers if its a tidy job.

Err.. no!
Takes a fair amount of time to glass up, whether using a mould, or direct in to a cavity, which in itself is nothing more than a mould. Then there is the finishing, the wiring, the covering etc, etc.. |
