Default Are there any reara brake upgrade options?

Are there any brake upgrade options for the rear of a ZT-T CDTI?

I notice that the ZT190 upwards use larger discs + vented.

I'm assuming we ZT CDTI owners are not lucky enough to simply swap these over?

Any other options?

The "uprated" rear discs on a 190 are actually the same diameter!!

The uprate was in the form of a thicker "vented" disc which requires the fitting of a caliper and carrier with a wider gap and of course new discs!!

Very simple to do straight swop of the new parts use the orginal hose and bleed the fluid job done!!

Bearing in mind that 80/85 % of the braking is done by the fronts I dont know how much of the improvement you would actually notice in normal day to day use?? - unless your intending to go to track days regually??

I changed mine as the discs and pads were compleatly done in and the calipers/carriers were availible at silly money + I carry a fair amount of weight in the back of the car 99% of the time its in use!!

Its only the fronts of the 190 that have larger diameter discs and particualy with good (drilled/groved) discs and proformance pads + of course the correct caliper/carrier change its this mod that dramatically improves the brakes!!

HTH ??

Andy

P.S the pics are before/after the rears and fronts respectivley and you can see the diameter change of the fronts and lack of one on the rears!
