Default Extracting RAVE to PC

Hi all,

I have a genuine copy of RAVE from Rimmers but I'm just wondering if I can be lazy and put the workshop/electrical diagrams etc. directly into a folder on my PC to access without loading the disc and going through the menus.

Maybe some copyright issue?

Not sure if this should be in the General Forum, Technical or Technology? Mods please move if you think fit - thanks.

Andy.

If you can get it up and running via the date change.. tis easy .to produce unprotected output.

Install Foxit PDF Reader ..

load up the rave with adobe 4 or what it needs and you can then print out using the Foxit pdf printer driver, this will output the individual Files in a standard PDF format

so just select print and then the Foxit pdf printer driver .

Copy the entire disc to a folder of your choosing anywhere on your PC, open the folder and double click on the Tdata.exe file.

This will run RAVE, and also create a desktop shortcut for you, which can simply be clicked for subsequent use

Hope this helps

As Brian says. If you have the orange disc from Rimmers ( ZAA000400 ) that does not expire so no date changes required. Just access the disc and copy it to a folder of your choice. The TData.exe file will run it. The Adobe Acrobat version required is on the disc and runs automatically. If you bought this disc from Rimmer Bros you have no need to worry about copyright as it is the official version from XPart. just so long as you do not make copies of the disc. Hope this helps.
