Did the last brake pipe needed for the MOT- front offside. Tester was quite right to pick it up as it broke whilst unclipping it.
Removed the old one and used it as template, but fitting the replacement was like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube, or maybe knitting with boxing gloves on.
Just waiting for the rear caliper to come and she can go for her retest.

Default What I did with my Rover 75/MG ZT today?

Fitted a fuel burner to Debs Ztt, coded in and working fine.

Just need a timer now and all will be toasty.

Removed the rear wheel arch liners and washed behind them both and applied rust preventative wax. Made sure I properly cleaned the mud trap behind the sills, it appears that where the panels all join there is a hole which remains which leads in to the sills, so I fed the cavity wax lance in through here and gave a good dosing.

There is a bit of surface rust on the exposed area of the inner wheel arch which for the moment I have just covered with wax, when I can get out more then I'll clean it all back, prime and paint it.

Found the offside rear sunroof drain was blocked, so wonder if this was causing the water leak in to the boot or not - I'd resealed the seams yesterday and water tested it after unblocking it and all seems ok, so fingers crossed.

Also found the rear headlight levelling sensor rather bent, looks like the ball joints have seized and over time the rod has bent and broken the switch body as well so looks like time to order a replacement.

Hi Andy. Looks like that bleed water pipe is pressing up against the pipe that goes to the egr? I had to cut a short piece off that pipe near to the egr to clear it from rubbing anywhere. Hope I am not teaching you to suck eggs. Especially as Easter is over.

Testing a colour dye on an old steering wheel before i do the ZT one so impressed i put it on the tourer as that one was a little tired.

Fit two carpet clips to hold the genuine zt mats in place.

Then did gardening and creocoted the gate

Next weekend might have a go at the HRW wire after reading Brians advice Araldite is on order.
