Morning all, torrential prolonged rain last night and a drop in temperature today down to 21C, I have had to put a fleece on. The 4x4 is being collected this morning to have the timing belt changed. I have asked the chap to replace the thermostat as it seems to have packed up. I have been up early cutting hedges and keeping the bushes and thorns back from scratching up the 4x4 in the car port.
We heard over the weekend, curfew here is being extended to 30 days from 9pm - 4am and apart from cargo and repatriation flights being allowed, the airports, borders and ports will remain closed to the public for the next 30 days. What’s everyone up to? |

Morning all, What a grey day, It doesn't look like I'll be troubling the sun cream or sun glasses today by the looks of the weather forecast I'm going to take my older brother to get some compost shortly as the gardening stores here have been sold out for weeks and he's heard on the grapevine that new supplies are in.
I've only just recently got a refund for those two 80ltr bags of potting compost I ordered in March It's like gold dust unless you want to pay double or more the price.

Morning everyone from overcast Saltash.
We’ve plenty of compost down here Ian. Off to the Street today have got club stock to send off, drop my repeat prescription off at the chemist and then a trip to Marsh mills to the diy store and pop into Halfords for a few bits.

Overcast and cool here. But DRY .
Strawberries are coming along nicely (even though I don't like them) and hopefully will swell up after all the rain. Just need some sun to ripen them up then SWMBO will be very happy. Take care all. |

Morning all - it's a bit on the grey side, but at least it's stopped raining and is a tad warmer. Monday = washing day, which might end up being an expensive one as I fear there may be a leak on the washing machine (which is only 18 months old)
