Morning.

Not a cloud in the sky in sunny Tamworth - despite what 3 different weather forecasts say. Apparently it's cloudy .

I spoke too soon......

Fox poo finder Mk2 - did. .

Despite being a water baby she absolutely hates being washed. Tried putting her in the bath once. OMG what a disaster. She climbed and clawed her way out any which way she could . What a mess - everyone mega stressed, wet and she was still dirty.

Managed with some nice soapy water in a bucket, a big sponge and lots of treats. Oh, and she instantly forgave me for washing her as soon as her food bowl was filled up .

This morning one clean, sweet smelling, gorgeous Golden Lab/Retriever cross

Well we finally got a day and a half of good steady rain last week so water storage now replenished.
Lovely day today without a cloud in the sky, already been out and planted some lettuce seedlings out to keep the crop going, outdoor tomatoes, peppers and cucumber all looking good and enjoying the sunny sheltered patio.
Off to do a couple of small jobs on the caravan later..
Got a call out of the blue on Saturday evening from a mate from way back in the circuit racing days of the 70s we race prepared a HB Viva GT together and he went on to work with the Dealer Team Vauxhall rally team HS Chevettes, he now lives near Silverstone so a reunion is planned as soon as it's socially acceptable..

Morning folks - nice, sunny and warm day with promise of more of the same until the weekend.
DTV HS Chevette - now there's a blast from the past. I recall 'Arry Carpenter from Grandstand being scared witless in the passenger seat of one with Pentti Airikkala demonstrating how to drive it on snow!

Ah, Chevettes, an interesting car, I liked them. Best memory was driving one on hire, and coming up to a Metropolitan Police Advanced Driving School car out on the back roads near Ware, I think it was a Triumph PI. I saw my opportunity and thrashed past him in my little maroon Chevette in a wonderful overtake imagining the rollicking he was getting from his instructor.

The Chevette was a great looking car, always fancied one, especially the 2.3 HS
