Accelerator Pedal Rubbers
Has anybody found a source of accelerator pedal rubbers please? I’ve been looking on-and-off for years but never found any. You can get the brake and clutch ones but not the accelerator ones. Thank you!

If your pedal is worn send it to Brian as he does a new service for them. He heats up a spoon over the gas ring on the cooker and "re-treads" the pedal for you then with a bit of Geordie precision shaves off any rough edges.

Maybe...
I have the new one from the college car with no wear, I have this idea of 3D printing a copy pad to glue in place on the worn ones. It's just an idea but a copy of my new one scanned and freely sent out to anyone that needs one might be an answer. I don't know if new ones are still out there.

Damn you Sean, I've just got a rollicking from the boss for using the best cutlery during a test run
On the other hand, ask Mike Noc what his throttle pedal looks like, I'm sure he used a "Winfield" stick on sole with added Blakey's segs for longevity on his pedal box refurbishment. Brian |

Plenty of life left in my pedal Bri.
Not bad for getting on for 20 years old and 403971 miles. Helped by having cruise control mind. Blakeys - that takes me way back. Didn't know you could still get them. . Last edited by Mike Noc; 11th May 2020 at 12:41.. |

I’m going to need to buy a whole new accelerator pedal shortly because I’m going to give that back-of-the-spoon thing a go!

Winfield! My old dad used to stick them on his shoes when I was a lad!
The smell of the glue was lovely! |
