ABS warning light
Just returning from a short local jaunt when the ABS light came on.
I've tried a short stop/ignition switch-off - it came back on almost immediately. After a couple of miles more I did a longer (10 minutes) stop/ignition switch off - following the self check it went out and stayed out for about 20 seconds drive and then back on it came! Couple of months back had the O/S wheel arch liner off and the loom end of the blue ABS connector broke (I suspected some butchering during the last garage job replacing the front struts was the reason); got a replacement housing off Trikey, re-fitted the terminals and all was well - until now. Before I start a search - got any suggestions please? |

John recheck the ABS blue connector first, unplug use some contact cleaner and refit see what happens, also do a visual test in the wheel arch to see it the cable as bee chaffed? then its a case trying to get it on a T4 which should pinpoint it which will save all the guess work.
