Was it, or not the Plenum any ideas?

After the experience of water in front and rear passenger wells, I have had the Plenum's checked and they were not flooded.... But had 6 tons of dead leaves, muck etc excavated out of them. Could this still lead to the front/rear passenger wells flooding? even though the plenums themselves were not....... could the water run off the debris and back into the car?
I had all drains and seals checked none blocked/cracked or broken.

I would suggest then, where the drains come down to pass through the bulkhead into the front wheel arches, they have a weak joint which pulls apart. You will need to put some rags down, but it seems that may not matter. Where the section is in the wheel arch, it fills up with debris and finally blocks, so that the water leaks through that joint. Some reconnect it using connectors similar to hose connections, but I found once cleared, just some PTFE tape will do. I'll try to find a "how to" on it.

Shame on you, after all the comments you see on here about plenums

Now go to ebay and buy one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New...l/381894400545. Install the spy-hole mod and you can give your plenums a regular tickle with minimal effort

The sunroof seals are never watertight, they just stop most of the water leaking in and the draught. Water still gets in, but there is a drain in each corner of the roof, at the rear they go through the sides of the boot and out, at the front they go down just ahead of the door hinges, then to the ground.

If they become blocked, or the mid point joints come apart - you get water in the cabin.

Likewise if the plenum drains become blocked, the water level can rise and flood the interior, in conditions of heavy rain. Yet when checked that water in the plenum might well have drained away.

Could one assume if plenum drains just blocked with garbage it could still divert to inside of car even though plenums are not flooded?
