Would anybody happen to know whether a 75/MG user guide exists for the T4 and if so, whether a copy is available for purchase?

No there wasn't a guide as such, it was all done by training, the T4 software guides you through using it step by step on the screen, it also has descriptions of what the live data readings are and the expected readings.

Default introduction to T4.

I hesitate to post here - don't claim to knowledgeable in these matters.

But as far as I know, the T4 system was designed to operate on the older 32 bit computer system. Newer generations of computers use a 64 bit system. This may be the reason that your friend is having trouble.

One of the Dell D series laptops (say 500, 510, 520, 530 600, 610) should be OK - they work for me.

The T4 software is actually compiled as 16bit, it will run ok on a 32bit version of Windows 10 on a x64 processor.
