Default I like the new MOT rules !! (well this year anyway)

I put the 75 in for it's Mot a couple of days ago, and it passed

What was interesting was that it would of failed last year with the same fault, but was passed with a minor fail this year.

Anyone guess the minor fault ??

Yep - Number plate lamp.

Last year, if a lamp is fitted it must work. This year, if a pair is fitted, only one has to work, and you get a minor fail (advisory) if one is out

Not a bad result for a car I was given 5 years ago (it was going to be scrapped) and now on 131000 miles.

They are only there because I had a noise and was trying to eliminate causes....ending up being the rear dust plates ...I replaced all four.
