Default Feedback from Cosford

To all those who attended Cosford on Sunday

I have just spoken with the events dept at Cosford and they wanted to congratulate the club and its members for a well organised and attended meet. It seems that staff on duty had made a point of telling them how much they appreciated the way the members had conducted themselves on the day. I assume they sometimes have to put up with revving engines and cars being driven around etc. They were also impressed how the cars had been booked in and everyone had parked up where Brian had asked them to.

It makes it all worthwhile to get feedback like that

Cheers

Ken

Thanks for info Ken

Good job the V8 ers didn't arrange a 1 minute revving session then! (as happens in other car clubs)

Thinking about it, the noise level would be less than a Cesna 150 flying overhead, so I can't see a problem with this at some future event?

Hi Jules

I am not saying it was the lack of revving but I just assume that was one of the reasons. It may well be something else that made us stand out from other clubs I really don't know

It was just nice to get the feedback where normally it doesn't happen. Eden camp got back to us but other than that we have not had feedback before

There have been a couple of occasions in the past where Ken has had to go to some lengths to point out to event locations that this club is not populated by rev-happy drum n' bass chavs who will wreck the place.

Can we get the 'good behaviour' message in writing ??

Might help with booking of further events

you can't see me telling the V8 guys to keep it down

When i was on the gate we had the museum parking guys come over and tell us what a privileged it was to have the club there, i thought he meant haveing a Rover/MG club there but he went on to explane how well it was running and how organized it looked, this was about 11am.

I will own up it was me that told the V8 guys to stop reving the motors as one other member had asked me to say something to them as it was making the children frightend.
