Karmon Hardon sub woofer
Hi there
Anyone have any idea what the specs are for the Karmon Hardon sub woofer (ZT-T) or any suggestions for a replacement? Thanks Paul |

Hi Paul,
It's Harman Kardon by the way! I once contacted them and they wouldn't disclose any technical information on the grounds of corporate confidentiality. Why are you considering a replacement? If the distortion is the issue, it's the HK power amplifier which is responsible for that, not the speakers. All the best. Simon

Hi Simon
I'm always swapping names like that round - why is that? Anyway, yes I do get some distortion, but inspecting the woofer, the rubber has gone and it flaps like an old pair of flares in the wind. I tried speak to HK and their designated repair shops and know one knows the specs. Instead I would have to take to an audio specialist who will be able to test it to get the specs. I have now ordered a cheap replacement as someone posted a link a few years back on here and said it did the job, screw holes line up etc - we'll see, seems a bit cheap, but you never know. Thanks |
